The JVDA Championships will have several special features throughout the event:

• International Flavor with teams from China, Canada and Puerto Rico
• Brand new net systems – no water barrels, clean sport court
• Educational sessions for athletes, parents and coaches
• 3 Championship Courts on June 30th with memorable ceremonies for all participants by MavRen Productions
• Live webcasting of 200 matches by MaxxAthlete
• Your Team Libero will be allowed to serve for 1 rotation!!!

The JVDA Championships is looking for volunteers for the following:

• All-Tournament Committee
• Ball Shaggers for Championship Matches in Freedom Hall on June 29th
• Singers of the National Anthem
• Championships Rehearsal Team on the evening of June 26th

The JVDA will attempt to set a record for attendance on June 29th as we encourage everyone to attend the 17 Open and 18 Open Championship matches in Freedom Hall.  No other matches will be taking place so everyone can share the excitement.  Over 19,000 seats will be available to watch the Championship matches.  Freedom Hall is located adjacent to the exhibition halls where the main tournament venue will be located.

• June 29th:  17 Open - 6pm, 18 Open - 8pm

The AVCA and JVDA will be joining forces to provide a Girls' Talent Showcase, held in conjunction with the 2009 JVDA National Championships in Louisville, Ky.!!! The showcase is a recruiting event designed and developed for uncommitted and unsigned high school athletes, who will graduate in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012, to showcase their talents in front of volleyball coaches of all levels from around the country.
